Our client is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including general and cardiac studies. This role involves clinical instruction, research participation, and contributions to policy development and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative team environment, utilizing state-of-the-art imaging technology to provide top-tier patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical and research-based nuclear medicine procedures, including general studies and cardiac studies.
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment such as PET/CT and SPECT/CT scanners.
  • Provide clinical instruction to nuclear medicine students and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in rotating call coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must Haves:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine (Associate or Bachelor’s degree required).
  • Active ARRT (Nuclear Medicine Technology) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification.
  • Vermont Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or eligibility to obtain state licensure.
  • Ability to provide a copy of a college transcript if invited for an interview.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with Epic EMR.
  • PET/CT imaging experience.
  • Experience working in a Level I trauma center.
  • At least one year of paid Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience.


Location:  Burlington, VT

Salary: $79,000 – $125,000

  • Signing Bonus: $6,000 – $15,000 (paid in three installments)
