Certified Surgical Tech Open Heart
Our client is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech specializing in Open Heart procedures to join their dynamic surgical team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of surgical procedures, assisting surgeons and RNs during operative procedures.
Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control protocols.
Support RNs in documenting procedures and maintaining organized records.
Participate in the maintenance and cleaning of surgical equipment.
Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and respond promptly.
Must Haves:
Surgical Tech certification (required within six months of hire).
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
At least 2 years of experience in a general OR setting.
Nice to Haves
Current Surgical Tech certification.
Prior experience in open-heart procedures (preferred, but willing to train the right candidate).
Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Shift Details:
Start Time: 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday
Shift Duration: 8 hours per day
Salary: $54,000.00 - $69,000.00
Sign-On Bonus: $12,000.00 for a three-year commitment
