4205 - Mid Lvl System Engineer (TS/SCI-FSP)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid-Level System Engineer. The successful candidate will work with a team of system engineers to design, implement and maintain complex networks and systems.
Our client's Technologies focus on Software & System Engineering in Enterprise and Cyber Security solution spaces. Our client excels at delivering stable and reliable software solutions using Agile Software Development principles. These provide us the capability to deliver a quick turn-around using interactive applications and the integration of industry-standard software stacks.
Nice to Have's:
- Design, implement and maintain complex networks and systems
- Work closely with other teams to integrate systems with other systems and platforms
- Provide support for system administration, configuration management, and network management activities
- Conduct system analysis, monitoring, and testing to ensure high availability, reliability, and functionality
- Participate in the planning and implementation of system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues as needed
- Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in system engineering and incorporate them into our systems
- Serve as a technical mentor to junior system engineers
- Write technical documentation and procedures
Must Have's:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in system engineering
- Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Linux and Windows
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPNs
- Strong knowledge of system administration and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Active TS/SCI-FSP
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

Salary: $95,000-130,000
