Our client is seeking a Junior Java Software Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis, supporting a U.S. Government customer. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical technical expertise, assisting in the maintenance and advancement of mission-focused software and systems for a high-impact government contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in Front End or Full Stack development, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Develop applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, jQuery, React, or Vue.
  • Build and maintain Java Web or NodeJS applications.
  • Design and apply CSS for application interfaces.
  • Create and integrate RESTful services to enhance application functionality.

Must Have's:

  • Security Clearance: Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Experience: Entry-level with 0+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Four years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Skills: Proficient in developing with JavaScript frameworks and Java or NodeJS; experience with CSS and RESTful services.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills.

Nice to Have's:

  • Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks, including AngularJS, jQuery, React, or Vue.
  • Knowledge in developing RESTful services and integrating them with web applications.
  • Familiarity with Java Web or NodeJS applications and CSS implementation.



Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Salary Range: $50,000 - $120,000
