Our client is seeking a Director of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Strategic Sourcing to manage all aspects of their HealthTrust PBM Program, overseeing $5.8 billion in annual spend. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring that all contractual obligations are met with the PBM supplier partner, maintaining the master services agreement, and supporting the financial performance of the program. Additionally, this position involves managing the Human Resources Advisory Board, ensuring effective communication and coordination among members, and supporting the overall PBM Program strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and negotiate the master services agreement with the PBM supplier partner.
- Ensure contractual obligations are met for both the organization and each client.
- Oversee the PBM supplier partner’s delivery of services, ensuring superior account management.
- Analyze and interpret financial and contract performance reports to ensure compliance.
- Manage the Human Resources Advisory Board, coordinating meetings, maintaining records, and communicating with board members.
- Assist in the development and execution of PBM Program strategy.
- Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision and values.
- Travel up to 15% for meetings and board activities.
Must Have's:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a management-related field (required).
- PharmD or other advanced degree (a plus).
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in pharmacy benefit management or a senior benefits role within healthcare.
- 5+ years of experience with employee benefit contracts.
- Strong project management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of PBM industry, employee pharmacy benefits, and supplier operations.
- Experience with contract negotiation, legal terms, and consulting (required).
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Salary: $125,000 - $157,000
