Our client is seeking an Imaging Supervisor to lead and support a radiology team while maintaining clinical responsibilities as needed. This role involves overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, ensuring quality control, and coordinating scheduling in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, leadership experience, and a commitment to providing high-quality imaging services.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate workflow within the radiology department, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care.
- Perform a variety of routine and complex imaging procedures, including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, DXA, Mammography, CT, OR Imaging, and PACS.
- Act as a liaison between the radiology team and leadership, communicating department updates and operational needs.
- Oversee scheduling, delegation of tasks, and staff supervision to ensure optimal department performance.
- Maintain quality control and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper equipment functionality.
- Support staff in a newly unionized environment while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Must Haves:
- Certificate and/or Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT(R) certification required, plus additional certification in CT or Mammography.
- Eligibility for Radiologic Technologist licensure in the State of Vermont.
- Minimum five years of radiology experience.
- At least one year of supervisory experience.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in a unionized work environment.
- ARRT certification in both CT and Mammography, as well as Radiography.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR and Visage PACS system.
Location: Middlebury, VT
Salary: $78,700 – $118,100
- Signing Bonus: $15,000 (paid in three installments)
