Our client is seeking a Pharmacist to join their healthcare team in Plattsburgh, NY. This role is responsible for the preparation and dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies for both inpatient and outpatient care. The ideal candidate will have hospital pharmacy experience and a strong commitment to providing quality pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies for inpatient and outpatient care.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy for patients.
Maintain accurate patient medication records and ensure proper documentation.
Provide guidance and education to patients and healthcare staff regarding medication use.

Must Haves:

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy) and Registered Pharmacist licensure in NY (or ability to obtain).
At least 2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
Ability to work onsite in Plattsburgh, NY.
Willingness to work evening shifts (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM).

Nice to Haves:

Residency training experience.
1+ years of Epic training.
Retail pharmacy experience.

Location: Plattsburgh, NY

This is a bargaining unit position with primary shifts from 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, and secondary shifts from 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Salary: $126,464 – $187,158 per year.

Relocation Assistance: Partial relocation package available.
