4611 - Physical-Technical Security Manager TS/SCI CI Poly
We are seeking a Physical-Technical Security Manager to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the design, construction, and accreditation of classified workspaces. This individual will provide expert guidance to clients, architects, and general contractors, ensuring compliance with ICD 705 requirements. This is a full-time role requiring significant travel and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI and CI polygraph.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical security expertise for classified facility design, construction, and accreditation
Advise clients and project teams on ICD 705 compliance
Coordinate with general contractors, construction supervisors, and security stakeholders
Review and approve RFIs and design submittals
Navigate and utilize project management software such as Procore or Bluebeam
Maintain detailed records of construction security measures and equipment
Deliver high-quality results independently with minimal supervision
Travel frequently throughout northern Virginia and other domestic locations
Must Have's:
U.S. Citizenship required
Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and CI polygraph
Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional appearance and conduct
Physically capable of performing all assigned duties
Willingness to travel: 70% in northern Virginia, 30% nationally
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Nice to Have's:
ICD 705 Subject Matter Expertise
At least 5 years of experience with DCSA or Intelligence Community entities (NRO, DIA, CIA, etc.) related to SCIF and SAPF design and accreditation
Experience working directly with construction supervisors and general contractors
Familiarity with reviewing and approving RFIs and design submittals
Experience with Procore or Bluebeam platforms
Completion of CDSE STEPP courses
Understanding of DoD access control policies and procedures
Knowledge of electronic/physical security systems and access control integration
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of physical and logical systems
Experience tracking equipment and coordinating installation-level actions
Location
Northern Virginia with travel to other domestic locations
Salary
$100,000 – $135,000 annually, depending on experience
